Bishop Neville Owens

Bishop Neville Owens is the founder of Love and Faith World Outreach Ministries, Jamaica.  He began his pastorate in 1983, after graduating from the Caribbean Pentecostal College located in Mizpeh in the parish of Manchester, Jamaica.  The tremendous growth in his ministry has been orchestrated by the Holy Spirit who has endowed him with Wisdom, Knowledge and Understanding regarding God’s Word and God’s Ways.  As such, his function in the office of the Apostle is the basis on which he oversees ministries throughout the island as well as other affiliated churches in the Caribbean and London, England.  He was consecrated into the Bishopric on December 4, 2011.

Bishop Owens is a prophet who is called to the nations and he ministers extensively at home and abroad.  His international ministry has taken him to countries in the continents of Africa, Europe, North and Central America as well as several islands in the Caribbean. Covenant relationships throughout the world have also developed as a result of the call on his life, which exemplifies humility and servant-hood.  At home, his ministry extends to numerous churches island-wide.

The work he founded at Love and Faith World Outreach Ministries embraces a multifaceted vision that includes ministry to men, women, youth and children; the development of all areas of the arts for Kingdom Ministry and the establishment of community outreach projects. The areas of emphasis include prayer, praise and worship, pastoral care, family, administration, outreach and missions.

Bishop Owens is also Co-Founder/President of Mizpah School of Intercessors in Kingston, Jamaica for the training of intercessors across denominational boundaries; and a founding member of “Prayer 2000” – a group of Churches and Intercessory Ministries throughout the island with a vision to bring transformation to the nation of Jamaica through the reconciliatory ministry of the church.  He is also a founding Member of the Independent Churches of Jamaica, 2010.

Bishop Owens also influences those aspiring to become leaders in the Church.  He has been Lecturer/Presenter at the Whole Life Bible College, Jamaica since 1998 and a Faculty Member of Trinity Theological Seminary, since 2009. He has helped to steer the operations of several affiliate groups as a board member, including Life Connections of Jamaica, since 2009 and Hands Across Jamaica for Righteousness, in 2011.

Internationally, he has been involved in the coordination of several church bodies worldwide.    He is a Fellow of the Haggai International Institute and has been a Resident Coordinator of the Institute in Maui, Hawaii (USA) and Singapore (Asia), since 2006.  He was appointed International Coordinator of Ministers Prayer Network, headquartered in Port Harcourt, Nigeria, in 2010.  This Ministry constitutes a non-denominational gathering of ministers and church leaders which draws participants from Anglican, Presbyterian, Pentecostal and Charismatic church groups with the aim to create a forum for prayers and biblical leadership development.  Bishop Owens is also a Graduate (1999) of the Bishop Earl Paulk Theological Seminary, (Atlanta Georgia USA).

He has also been a representative/team member of several other bodies including the Apostolic Team Believer's Ministries International, California, USA since 2000 and the Miracle Ministries International Caribbean and North America, since 2010.

Because of his commitment to prayer, Bishop Owens is frequently called on to lead island-wide prayer drives in preparation for major crusades and visitations that have graced the nation of Jamaica.   Some of these have included visitations by Reinhardt Bunke, Billy Graham, Franklyn Graham and Benny Hin.
